Would you use a phone with the same size display as your PDA and the
PDA function accessible? Not built into the phone but sitting on a
server somewhere?

How about those of us who like certain PDA functions but not the whole 9 yards?
The same is true for Pocket PC. A lot of over head for the few functions I use.

One way to have an all-in-one device functionally is for the ISP or
vendor to support SaaS. In the coming world of SOA this will be a
standard configuration.
It could even be a link to your own server so you can get your
customized version.

Maybe there is already a way to do this?
