[SATLUG] Is Ubuntu Windows Proof?

either you're confused or I am after reading your
posts.  If you're trying to have windows and linux
installed... then install Windows 98 (?  wow, thats
old) first.  Then install the lastest ubuntu/kubuntu
linux.   I wouldnt fart around with some wifi card if
it doesnt work w/kubuntu, its a pain in the ass.  I'm
using a ConnectGear WP440G pci wireless card and it
just works.  No messing around with anything..sorta..
I did have to download a module and do a insmod and
bring up the connection using ifconfig but it was alot
easier then messing around with other hacks.

Installing W98 to get the wifi card working if I
understood you correctly has nothing to do with linux.
