[SATLUG] i was thinking how nice it'd be not to upgrade...

hello all,

i was tweaking a new box tonight and saw another new Ubuntu version  
coming down the pipeline and i began to think...when is enough, enough?

i mean seriously. my system is fine. are there some things that i'd  
like it to do that it won't? sure.

but overall i'm happy with it. i know that fedora, slack, and  
especially debian go months, if not years, in between upgrades. i've  
never understood ubuntu's decision to crank out updates so rapidly.

do any of you know the philosophy why they crank out so many?
