[SATLUG] AT&T $10.00 DSL Ordering - Easiest Way

I tried to order the $10.00 online and could not find it on att.com website.
However, when I went to the screen to see the available internet services,
after lingering a while, a chat option showed up onthe right side of the
webpage.

*During chat, I was asked questions whether I am phone customer and how long
I have had the line and if I had ATT DSL before. When I answered yes to the
first and no to the second I was given a URL to go to and still I could not
find the $10.00 offer. *

*So the chat-rep volunteered to place an order for me. It is the easiest way
to place an order for $10.00 DSL. *

Interestingly enough, I was not asked anything about my computer
hardware. The modem is being shipped from their warehouse and line is to be
activated on 6/25, which is not bad considering the weekend in between. I
ordered the basic modem for 49.99 with a 49.99 rebate. the wireless modem
costs 79.99. I would rather have a separate wireless router if I need one.
Last time I picked up a wireless modem at Goodwill for a couple of bucks.
