You lost me there. Wiki's are not the 'end-all' to knowledge, as much
as some people want them to be.
The phone line is at the pole. The line comes from the pole to your
house. The lines are ran into your house. Until your line is connected
at the CO, you don't get -any- service on the POTS line. Punto.
