[SATLUG] knoppix 5.1.1 and RTL-8185

So, I downloaded the .iso, burned the image, booted into Knoppix and 
worked and worked and worked trying to get the RTL-8185 driver to load, 
only to find out that there -is- no rtl-8185 driver on the Knoppix 
live-cd... or is there?

lspci says it sees the Realtech RTL-8185 ethernet controller.. but 
nothing I tell modprobe to look for comes close to 8185.

Helps, hints, ideas?
