Do any of you use Evolution for mail?  I would prefer to be using
Mozilla Thunderbird, but am giving it a try because of the integrated
calendar and task list features.

I have it set Evolution up to read the standard mbox spool
/var/mail/scarolan for incoming mail.  What I've discovered though is
that when you move a message out of the inbox and into an folder,
Evolution doesn't actually move the message.  It simply creates some
kind of virtual folder and keeps thousands of messages in the mail
spool.  The larger my mail spool gets, the longer it takes to scan,
and I get lots of sync error messages when I try to read my mail.

Anyone have an idea how to force evolution to actually MOVE the
messages out of the inbox?
