[SATLUG] Hard drive partitioning

I've got an older laptop with a 20GB drive in it. It's been running Debian 4
for a while, but I needed to run some basic Windoze apps. Using gparted, I
resized the hard drive partitions and used the 98SE boot disk to add a DOS
partition, but now I can't do anything with the partition table. It's stuck
with a primary DOS partition and an extended DOS partition, which it says
has logical drives defined, but it can't see them for some reason. parted
and gparted won't do anything with it because it says the partitions
overlap, and FDISK on the 98 boot disk won't do anything either.
Is there a way to just remove all of the partitions and start over?
Thanks,
Justin
