My Kurobox arrived and I love it. It's quiet and has much smoother
performance than the nslu2. It's easy to boot into "maintenance mode"
and install your distribution of choice. I went with Debian stable.
I think just about anyone on this list would have the skills to put
one of these into service as a SOHO NAS device. I run rtorrent, samba,
ddclient, and mt-daapd on mine, and it rarely uses more than 35MB of
RAM.
