[SATLUG] ATI Garbage

I'd be interested if this fixes the ATI issue.  I've got an ATI card on
my work laptop (dual boot Vista/Ubuntu 7.10).  Unfortunately I haven't
been able to be in Ubuntu nearly as much as I'd like, but when I have
been I haven't seen that issue (though I've only run a single monitor
setup).
