I dont think Windows is all that bad (2000/XP) but
what I didnt like was all the spyware/viruses I would
end up getting.  That just got old.  To be honest
(this may be stupid on my part) I dont have a virus
checker installed on my linux box but it is on my
to-do list.

And I agree w/Ernest about M$ keeping folks like him
employed because of windows.  Same here...I fix pc's
on the side and charge $50/each for reinstalling
Windows (wipe everything out).
