I've heard of it but didnt believe it until I tried
it.  I was getting IO errors one after the other.. put
it in the freezer for about 30 minutes...
mounted..copied the rest of the files... more IO
errors.. refreeze... retrieved all files except 5.
Friend of the family is excstatic (sp?).. lol   ...So
that was a excellent bit of advice.
