I have no vested interest in any distro, its just the
one I use.

I'm the latter which is one of the reasons why I like
it.

I like SuSE because if I need something I dont have to
sit there and compile everything or go looking for
obscure libraries in some dark corridor on the
internet. Drives me crazy when I'm wanting to use
something and I have 30 failed dependencies and those
dependencies depend on other libraries etc. Of
course, sometimes this scenario still occurs.

well said.. my server has no kb/mouse/monitor or
gui..just boots to runlevel 3.
fanning the flames... I hear KDE has a "KDE for
women". http://women.kde.org/ (I havent checked the
url so I dont know if its work safe or not). I dont
know what that means for KDE fans..I'm just sayin..
