I'm a little late to this conversation but I just wanted to say that
BestBuy's house brand Insignia NS-DA2G is excellent. Very small, 2GB,
Cheap ($50 for the 1GB). They play OGG, MP3, WMA.

I bought an action jacket armband that is great for running.
I have a minor nitpick or two but all in all very good.
