Thanks Brad. I do upgrades all the time, I even taken apart and got back 
together an ibook (4 times to get a dvd trayless drive in it). I paid 
$40  for this  powerbook  (pre  the  nice stuff)  and  finding a  good  
OS, MSOffice 98 plus some other stuff I just wanted to get knowledge on 
the Mac OS 8.5 so I could play with it and show to my students. I'm 
going to goolge for some info, should have done that first, so I can see 
how it was used back when it was new.

It reminds me of the Nokia 800 in size and screen and just seemed to 
cool to pass up. Less than a carton of cigs or an almost good bottle of 
scotch. Hell I'll just play with it and maybe learn that it can do most 
of what we really need to do in such a small package and maybe learn 
something about pre OSX Macs.
