I generally try www.tldp.org first for any subject I want to look into, and then search
more widely if/when I need more.
Unfortunately the computer business is still based mostly on the oral tradition of
hunters sitting around the fire and swapping stories. We've got a few authors on this
list that are doing their best to change that, but useful documentation always lags
development. Fortunately these days we have a bigger fire. --Don
