Hello all,

I received this message and don't know if anyone would be interested. I
spoke with Tod Bruning from Palo Alto College and he verified that he had
spoken with this woman. I don't know if anyone in the group would be
interested or not. I know of lot of the members work & would not be able to
do this, so I'm simply putting it to the list.

Hope you all have a great week!

Jim Wells

Jim Wells,
President of Satlug.org

You were recommended to me by Tod Bruning from Palo Alto College.
He mentioned you and your web site were a linux users group + and were
exceptional in helping other computer users.

We are seeking a Volunteer, a Basic Computer Instructor. We are a
non-profit Literacy program Each One Teach One.
We assist older teens and adults on an 8Th grade level or below to gain
self-sufficiency skills in literacy.

Our class will start Monday, April 14Th at Travis Park United Methodist
Church at 230 E. Travis St., SA, TX 78205. The course runs 6 weeks,
for 2 hours from 9:30-11:30 AM and there are 2 assistants to help.
The computers and materials are provided.

We just need a skilled instructor to share their talents
with a small informal group of very appreciative students.
E.O.T.O.offers these classes free of charge.
Our web site is www.actncommunity.org

We would be grateful for any assistance or information you may have.
If you know of someone who likes to teach or if you could post this
volunteer opportunity on your web site that would be excellent. Please
contact Elsie McCormick or myself at 210-212-8322 for any additional
questions or information.

Volunteer Coordinator
