Cacti might be fun for you. It does simple SNMP stuff. And creates
pretty graphs and all that using RRDtool. It'll generate lots of graphs.
You should be able to see samples on their website. It's really easy to
set up. And an SNMP tutorial should be sufficient to get the SNMP set up
on your linux boxes to monitor their goodies (CPU usage, Load, Users,
Interface load)

Nagios can do SNMP monitoring of things, but it requires a bit of
scripting to make it work. I've not seen a "good" opensource and free
SNMP Manager. But that's my personal expierence.
