Amen to that. Hopefully they continue to "Do no evil."

I'm one of the "lucky" att customers that has Fiber to the House. But of
course, I can't get the 10/10 mbit that they've allocated on the fiber
for internet. It sucks a great deal. Verizon actually has a service plan
like that 15/mb up 15/mb down. For $59.99 a month.

I can't believe no one else has gotten on that boat. Oh, wait, yeah i
can. They're going to metered bandwith now. Wonder-bleeping-full.

I've started using vnstat to watch my bandwidth, and I've already
consumed about 2gb worth of data in 3 days. That keeps me under Time
Warners 40gb limit, for now. We'll see how it goes over the next couple
months.

What I really wish for is some way of actually talking to the company
and telling them what I want, and that I'd be willing to pay for it.
Calling their customer support lines doesn't do a damn thing. You can
yak their ear off and their minimum wage earning checklist won't have
anything to cover what you're talking about. *sigh*
