I'll answer for Brad.  He is saying that OpenDNS is a security weakness and that 
it would be better to run your own caching name server.  (We can talk about how 
to do that later.)

If you are annoyed, then fix it.  If not, don't.  That's the power of Linux. 
You choose, not someone else.
