[SATLUG] Backtrack, Kppp and PCMCIA modem

First, I want to thank everyone for the help in finding direction on dialing
out.  I found out that Backtrack has Kppp inside of it.  The problem I now
face is finding out how to get it to find my PCMCIA modem.  I keep getting
told to use tty01 for com1 and stuff like that, but I'm confused if I can
even get PCMCIA cards to be seen by Linux in general, much less by
Backtrack/Kppp.

 

Any ideas, I'd appreciate it.
