[SATLUG] RAID5 Recovery - ddrescue: copy completed!

Sam,

I watched it run through the first time, for a little while.  The first read errors it encountered were at 8545 mb.  So, it may just be trying to recover the errors.

Also, as I'm watching it now, it's counting up errors, but decrementing the # of error bytes, as if it's correcting itself and showing how much progress it's making.  Here are several read-outs from various points in the current process, with the first one on the bottom and the latest one on the top:

root at RCH-SERVER:/# ddrescue --max-retries=3 /dev/sdb /dev/sda resclog1

Press Ctrl-C to interrupt
Initial status (read from logfile)
rescued:   250057 MB,  errsize:   1835 kB,  errors:      40
Current status
rescued:   250057 MB,  errsize:   1523 kB,  current rate:        0 B/s
   ipos:    99077 MB,   errors:     110,    average rate:      233 B/s
   opos:    99077 MB
Splitting error areas...

Hmm looks like it started over.  (ipos: 8545 MB) Atleast now retries are  enabled.
