[SATLUG] RAID5 Recovery - MDADM Segmentation Error

Running services and programs that are using NSS need to be restarted, otherwise they might not be able to do lookup or authentication any more (for services such as ssh, this can affect your ability to login).        Please review the following space-separated list of init.d scripts for services to be restarted now, and correct it if needed.

Note: restarting sshd/telnetd should not affect any existing connections.

Services to restart for GNU libc library upgrade:

samba rsync cron atd

Recompiling is not my bag, yet.

Here's the results, I'm sure I blew my OS.  Fortunately, I have a whole nother 80 gb drive with a complete install of Ubuntu Server 8.10, I can just swap it out, if need be...

You would have to download the source code and change that line in it and recompile it.

But that is the good thing about apt-get/aptitude.  We can just change our repositories and see what it would what to install.  I would rather do that then try and recompile/hack some stuff.
