And, to extend the Windows/cows metaphor, there are some folk in the 
world, for whatever reasons, just won't do Linux/hog, Linux/goat, 
Linux/lamb, or even Linux/deer.  These poor folk are just doomed to 
large vet bills and low sustenance quotas.  But, will they ever see that...?
