Dell is, sort of. And it shows:

Microsoft sells OEM versions of Windows to Dell and others at a discount
with the agreement that support will come from the OEM, and not Microsoft.
Of course commercial software products (whether Microsoft or others) do not
come with any real warranty. As you well know, the license agreements most
people ignore put all the responsibility on the user and none on the
manufacturer.

I'd like to see a piracy case argued that since the vendor disclaims the
program has any fitness for use, then the proper price is zero and payment
has already been made.  --Don
