Why not use this arrangement for greater flexibility?

ISP -> Cable "Modem" -> Some cheapo router running dd-wrt-->Computer A
ISP -> Cable "Modem" -> Some cheapo router running dd-wrt///////////// Netgear WG602v3-->Computer B
