I use Source Mage, as evidenced. I run it as my dom0 and as many domU.
Grub should be sufficient for booting xen, and it's easier to deal with
than lilo is anyway. (Especially since I always forget to run lilo after
installing a new kernel and then everything dies and lilo gets stupid.)

I use shorewall as my firewall system as well. I really like it, I've
set up shorewall6 so that I can firewall off my ipv6 stuff and I've set
up traffic shaping so that stuff works well even with bittorrent, or
something else, eating up all the extra bandwidth.
