Does anyone have a network card with a low-profile bracket or know who in
town carries one with the bracket for cheap? I'm trying to put a second NIC
in a computer to build a firewall.

I'll play dumb (sometimes not much of a stretch when it comes to computers) - what is a "low-profile bracket"?  I have several network cards and you're welcome to browse through them, but I'm not familiar with your term.  If you can describe it, I can look for it and perhaps help you out as many on the list have helped me over the years with my refugee project.
