One more interesting tidbit
www.linux.org is not getting a good traceroute AND comes up with a different
IP than linux.org

PING www.linux.org (188.8.131.52) 56(84) bytes of data.

3 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 2000ms
