It does, but it doesn't attach any interfaces.

brctl addif br0 tap0
brctl addif br0 <other interface>

Not sure if eth0 is the one you want.

Doing a bridge will set up your KVM as if it were another host on the
network.

If you add eth0 to the bridge it might knock that device off the
network, at which point you'd assign eth0's IP address to br0 (since
the host can talk out br0)

Then you can assign a 192.168.x address to your guest VM, and it
should work as if it were on your normal network (or get a DHCP lease)
