You probably need to chroot into your installation in order to fix it, so
you would do *something like*
mkdir -p /mnt/mysystem
mount /dev/sdd2 /mnt/mysystem
mount /dev/sdd1 /mnt/mysystem/boot (assuming /dev/sdd1 was your /boot
mount --rbind /dev /mnt/mysystem/dev
mount -t proc none /mnt/mysystem/proc
chroot /mnt/mysystem /bin/bash
